OWNER OF DINGUS ORTHODONTICS
Dr. William Dingus “Dr. Bill” has been practicing in the dental profession since 1984, merging his years of experience as a general dentist with his orthodontic experience to deliver high-quality care with an emphasis on appearance and function. Dr. Dingus’s training as a general dentist and orthodontist has proved invaluable in more complex orthodontic, prosthetic and surgical cases. His use of Invisalign®, as well as traditional braces, has equipped him with the skills required to deliver consistent orthodontic results with the latest technology.
Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Dingus completed a three-year commitment to the United States Public Health Service and then went into private general practice in Cleveland Ohio. He served as a dental educator at the Emergency Clinic at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry and was an attending dentist at Mt. Sinai Medical Center’s General Practice Residency Program. In 1994, after having completed an appointment as a research fellow at Ohio State University’s Department of Orthodontics, Dr. Dingus accepted a position in the orthodontic residency program at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Dental Center.
After receiving his Certificate of Orthodontics, Dr. Dingus moved to Seattle, Washington and opened a practice there in 1996. After practicing in Seattle for seven years, he moved back to Rochester, New York in 2003 and accepted a position in a group practice. In 2006, Dr. Dingus opened the Scottsville and Newark offices.
Dr. Dingus holds a variety of positions with state and local dental societies. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rochester Childfirst Network and plays active roles in Big Brother/Big Sister, National Urban League and the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Dingus lives in North Chili with his wife and four children.
